TECHNICAL MANAGER - CLOUD OPERATIONS - Aabasoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. TECHNICAL MANAGER - CLOUD OPERATIONS
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for the clients.
Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of cloud services, establishing robust monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
Develop and execute the roadmap for cloud operations, aligning with the company s business objectives and technology strategy.
Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability. Analyze cloud expenditure and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure cloud operations are compliant with security standards and best practices and industry-specific regulations.
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention
Collaborate with cloud service providers, evaluating their services and managing contracts and relationships.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud environment and provide regular performance and status reports to senior management and customers.
Lead major incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Understand the business requirement, identify key deliverables, and prioritize projects/tasks for all client based cloud projects.
Lead in designing, specifying and selecting cloud services, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
Participate in the pre-sales process to understand customer business and technical objectives and cloud requirements. This includes customer discussions, solution presentations
Own the program budget and ensure traceability of the program spend
Identifying new opportunities and penetrating new accounts. Implement the necessary project management infrastructure (project plans, issues lists, communication plans, case studies, lessons learned.
Proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google Cloud.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools and services. Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices in the cloud.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
Experience in Cloud migration from on-premise/hybrid/cloud Experience in fast-paced multi-vendor heterogeneous environments. Experience with network systems management and monitoring tools.
Experience in deploying SAAS application.
Ability to Pursue excellence in all aspects of service and delivery.
Demonstrative ability of good project management skills - planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation based on expertise.
Experience in handling consulting work with Presales/Marketing team.
Experience in delivering technical solution presentations to customer and technical audiences.
Experience in handling multiple project with tight deadlines.
Partner closely with other functional unit leads to design and implement operational and business goals.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role overseeing cloud operations.
