Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst with in-depth experience in the Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into functional specifications for development and ensuring that delivered solutions meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows for Wealth Management platforms and services.
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to define solution scope and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and other documentation to guide the development and QA teams.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Wealth Management, providing insights on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support testing teams in validating solutions and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing automation or optimization strategies.
- Ensure proper documentation and version control for all business artifacts.
- Track and report progress on deliverables, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
Primary Skills:
- Strong domain knowledge in Wealth Management, including investment products, portfolio management, financial planning, advisory, and compliance.
- Proven experience in business analysis, requirement elicitation, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and user stories.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar documentation platforms.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Secondary Skills:
- Knowledge of financial regulations such as MiFID II, FATCA, or SEC guidelines.
- Exposure to Wealth Management platforms (e.g., Charles River, Temenos, Avaloq, or similar).
- Basic understanding of data analysis and SQL for data validation.
- Experience with API documentation and integration projects is a plus.
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA) is desirable.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
- 510 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the Wealth Management or Financial Services domain.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
