Business Analyst (BA) / Product Owner (PO)

Role Overview:

The Business Analyst (BA) / Product Owner (PO) bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, defining product features, and ensuring successful product delivery. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, development teams, and customers to create high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering Analysis
Work with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
Develop user stories, process flows, and wireframes to define product features.
Product Ownership Backlog Management
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-prioritized and refined.
Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
Write and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with development, design, QA, and business teams to ensure product alignment.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
Testing Validation
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met.
Validate that product features align with business objectives and customer needs.
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Market Research Strategy
Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to guide product decisions.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for product features.
Support go-to-market strategies and product launch activities.

Required Skills Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in business analysis, product management, or a related role.
Education: Bachelors or Master s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or Trello.
Understanding of APIs, databases, and system integrations is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), or PMI-PBA.
Experience in UX/UI design principles and wireframing tools.
Knowledge of SQL for data analysis is an advantage.
