Junior Network Cloud - Focused Engineer @ Zensar

Continually grow your knowledge of cloud providers service offerings in the network, IAM and compute domains. Learn, document and retain knowledge of cloud provider offerings and the organizations cloud usage to help identify cost and performance optimization opportunities. Learn basic automation skills to automate routine administrative tasks. Collaborate with network peers, cyber security, and operations teams. Help to determine recommendations on capabilities to support new business opportunities. Learn and grow your knowledge in security and compliance standards related to cloud environments. Collaborate on technical solutions when faced with a new complex systems design or process issue. Provide assistance to perform root cause analysis of service-interrupting incidents; develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence. Actively learn how to prioritize critical, competing tasks. Drive continuous improvements of the networking service, drive automation to manage the scale and continue to optimize the efforts through appropriate tooling and automation.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, MIS, or related equivalent experience considered Proven understanding, with practical support experience of fundamental networking technologies 3-5 years of industry experience with 1+ years of experience in Cloud Networking and related service (AWS, Azure, GCP) Proven problem/incident management and troubleshooting experience within a technology operations environment. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with ability to collect and present meaningful system statistics and other metrics. Understanding of Infrastructure cabling, firewalls, load balancer s, switches, routers, and SDWAN technologies Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously with great attention to detail, urgency, focus and discipline. Confident and comfortable taking the lead during troubleshooting or recovery scenarios. Experience provisioning and maintaining network technology hardware and software. Knowledge in Cloud-based Network Security technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in the following areas:

Hybrid-cloud Networking (Cloud + On-Pem) Transit gateway Security Groups Experience using Service Now for Incident/Change/Problem Management. Broad experience with other networking technologies ie: SASE, Proxy, AWS, Azure, ACI, Meraki, Tufin, Viavi, Gigastor, Network Capture Analysis, ISE, Forescout, Cisco Firewall, Threat Defense, Cisco VPN, DDoS, Linux, SecureCRT, WireShark Experience with Automation (Ex.: Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins,XSOAR) Conceptual knowledge in some of the following IT areas: servers, database, web hosting, capacity planning, and performance analysis, Virtualized systems, Containers, etc. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously with great attention to detail, urgency, focus and discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
