Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of experience in Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento). This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, web development, and API integrations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom solutions on the Adobe Commerce platform, leveraging App Builder for no-code solutions and API Mesh for microservices-based communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions. Design and implement both frontend and backend features to meet client requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage API Mesh to enable seamless communication between microservices. Leverage APIs to integrate Adobe Commerce with third-party systems (payment gateways, ERP, CRM, PIM, etc.).
- Architect robust, scalable, and secure Adobe Commerce solutions tailored to business needs, ensuring high availability and performance across global e-commerce platforms.
- Develop custom modules, plugins, and extensions to extend the core functionality of Adobe Commerce based on business requirements. Optimize existing code for improved performance and efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal loading times and a smooth user experience.
- Implement caching, indexing, and other performance-enhancing techniques.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, QA engineers, product managers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Follow best coding practices, conduct code reviews, and maintain version control standards using Git.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Provide ongoing technical support, identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and offer timely resolutions to ensure system stability and smooth business operations.
- Keep up with the latest developments in Adobe Commerce, App Builder, API technologies, and e-commerce trends. Continuously seek to improve skills and recommend solutions for technical challenges.
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience for lead and 4-5+ years for senior of hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) development, including both frontend and backend development.
- Proven experience with App Builder for building scalable, no-code solutions within the Adobe ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of API Mesh and experience integrating multiple systems via APIs (GraphQL, REST, SOAP).
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and AJAX.
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce extensions, including developing and customizing third-party extensions.
- Experience with Composer, Git, and other version control tools.
- Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns.
- Experience in working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar) and understanding of cloud-based deployment patterns.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:
- Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert - Magento Commerce).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience in working with headless CMS and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
