Description

The Corporate Legal Assistant will support Gigamon s global operations as part of the Legal team by assisting with compliance matters, commercial transactions, recordkeeping, litigation support, intellectual property protection, and much more. You will collaborate with cross functional teams, including Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Information Security, and RD. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the legal department and compliance with corporate legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintaining corporate subsidiary compliance
Filing and organizing legal documents
Managing intellectual property (IP) and litigation dockets
Managing templates, policies, and legal web pages
Assisting with the preparation and negotiation of commercial agreements
Streamlining legal operations to ensure legal services are delivered efficiently and effectively
Preparing routine legal documents
Coordinating internal and external resources as needed
Contract management

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor s degree in legal studies or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal assistant
Familiarity with corporate law and legal procedures
Strong organizational ability to prioritize your time and deadlines accordingly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
