Desired Candidate Profile

Roles and responsibilities:

-Play an important role in the design/development of next-gen financial products/platforms. To explore a wide-range of new generation web technologies.
-Senior technical leadership position. Responsible for the complete software development cycle.
-Need to lead and manage a highly talented team of 10-12 engineers from across the software development cycle: frontend, backend, devops, performance engg., testing, QA etc.
-Gather requirements, convert them into technical specifications and develop cross platform application based on the specs
-Motivate the team by being hands-on, abreast with latest technological trends and demonstrating superior leadership skills
-Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes
-Should be result oriented with the ability to meet project deadlines. Take full ownership for ensuring timely and quality delivery
-Work closely with other senior members of the team in executing the product and technology roadmaps
-Imbibe a culture of innovation and continuous learning in the team and quickly integrate them into the regular work

Desired skills:

-A passion to build complex, highly scalable, resilient Javascript based enterprise grade applications and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
-8+ years of experience in full stack development. Some experience of MERN (MongoDb, ExpressJs, ReactJs, NodeJs) is preferred.
-Experience of effectively leading high calibre engineers from across the software development cycle: frontend, backend, devops, performance engg. testing, QA, etc
-Should have come from a developer background of writing clean code with a high respect for test cases and design integrity.
-Have a whatever-it-takes attitude of working through obstacles to deliver a great product into the market place
-Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability, effective oral and written communication, and leadership skills

-Development experience in defining, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs
-Experience of developing a large scale enterprise / consumer application
-Experience in developing enterprise class React Native mobile applications
-Experience of handling on premise deployment and maintenance
-Experience in version control software's like Git or SVN (we use Git). Maintain multiple releases and follow a seamless, frictionless process of version upgrade
-Good problem solving skills using data structures and algorithms
-Familiarity with Linux
