My name is Tanvir. I represent IDS Infotech Limited. We are hiring for SME for our ESG Business.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sustainability Specialist ESG Reporting & Product Sustainability (LCA, EPD, PCF) to join our newly established Sustainability Function.
This hybrid role requires strong technical expertise in Life Cycle Assessment methodologies(LCA) and ESG reporting frameworks, along with the ability to support business development and contribute to shaping sustainability strategies for clients while actively building and scaling the firms internal sustainability consulting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Product Sustainability
- Perform LCAs in accordance with ISO 14040/44 standards.
Prepare Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Product Carbon Footprints (PCF).
Collaborate with R&D, product development, and supply chain teams of clients to support sustainable product design and decision-making.
- Lead or support carbon reduction and offsetting initiatives, including lifecycle assessments and supply chain improvements
Maintain LCA models and databases using tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA. ESG Analysis & Reporting
- Lead ESG disclosures using global frameworks: GRI, SASB, CDP, TCFD, SDGs, BRSR, and EU Taxonomy Analyze and interpret ESG data for internal and external reporting.
Track global regulatory trends in sustainability and support compliance across markets.
- Stay current with global sustainability trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and innovations (e.g., green finance, carbon markets).
Produce high-quality technical documentation, sustainability reports, and client presentations.
- Guide ESG integration into clients corporate strategy and advise on frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP.
- Support development of sustainable finance strategies, evaluating how ESG factors influence investment and financial performance.
- Understanding of green financing instruments (e.g., green bonds, ESG funds). Digital Tools & Data Management Leverage tools like SQL, MS Excel, Power BI, or ESG analytics platforms for modeling and visualizing sustainability data.
- Utilize and manage ESG software platforms (Sphera, Enablon, EcoVadis)
- Act as a domain expert in ESG and LCA for the development of our in-house SaaS-based ESG platformcollaborate with product and tech teams to define functional requirements, validate data models, and ensure regulatory alignment.
Preferred: Experience or strong interest in SaaS product development, digital transformation projects, or sustainability tech tools ---
Required Skills &Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ESG reporting, LCA tools, and sustainability consulting.
- Experience working with software development teams or product managers to build or improve digital tools is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate ESG frameworks into actionable digital solutions. ---
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as GRI, SASB, ISSP-SA, or CFA ESG, ISO 14040/44, GHG Accounting.
- Experience in client engagement, consulting, or business development in sustainability.
- Hands-on experience with LCA tools, or sustainability data platforms.
