Senior Systems Administrator, Windows @ Akamai

Job Description

• Handling incident, problem, and change management through ServiceNow, including performing root cause analysis
• Managing Windows servers, monitoring alerts, and automating tasks using PowerShell/WMI
• Ensuring service level and operational level agreement adherence and maintaining audit compliance (SOX, PCI, SOC2, IRAP, ISO)
• Collaborating with engineering teams for implementing projects and transitioning services
• Demonstrating good troubleshooting and automation skills
• Working flexibly in 24/5 rotational shifts, including weekend on-call support

• Have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• Have 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and service delivery, with 7+ years in ITIL-based service delivery
• Have 9+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server infrastructure, including builds, migrations, and support for 2022/2019 versions
• Have expertise in Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and Quest Change Auditor.
• Have good skills in VMWare virtualization and scripting using PowerShell, WMI, or Python
• Have knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery, SailPoint, CyberArk, MIR3, and Google Drive.
• Have good communication skills and experience supporting multi-site datacenter infrastructures
