Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll help to build Akamais Zero Trust platform into a worldwide leader. you'll be crucial to the development of best-in-class security features. Leveraging networking and multi-cloud skills, you'll make a global impact on Enterprises, applications, users and their workloads.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Taking full ownership of technical strategy, system architecture, and product innovation, driving proof-of-concepts and high-impact solutions
- Collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment, leading code & design reviews
- Leading the development of a robust monitoring dashboard for Kubernetes clusters and cloud security vulnerabilities
- Working closely with development teams to enhance new releases, optimize performance, and improve deployment processes
- Providing technical leadership in CI/CD pipeline improvements, automation, and cloud infrastructure best practices
- Partnering with stakeholders to drive customer installations, demos, and technical discussions.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5+ years in software development, system-design and architecture with degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have proficiency in Python and/or Golang
- Have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Argo CD, and cloud-native technologies
- Have experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and proficiency in automating deployments in cloud environments
- Have hands-on experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP and implementing cloud security best practices
- Be expertise in REST APIs, Databases, and SQL, with a focus on designing scalable and high-performance solutions
