Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to identify their storage challenges, application requirements, and data management goals.
Develop customized storage solutions based on customer needs, including recommendations on storage arrays, protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS), data protection strategies, and capacity planning.
Deliver compelling presentations to showcase storage capabilities, highlighting key features and benefits of the proposed solution to prospective clients.
Design and execute POCs to demonstrate the functionality and performance of storage solutions, addressing customer concerns and validating the solution fit.
Stay updated on competitor offerings, identifying strengths and weaknesses to effectively differentiate the companys storage solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to craft detailed proposals including technical specifications, pricing, and implementation timelines.
Possess in-depth knowledge of various storage technologies like SAN, NAS, DAS, object storage, cloud storage, data deduplication, and data compression.
Provide technical support to the sales team during the sales cycle, answering questions, addressing customer concerns, and facilitating technical discussions.
Establish strong relationships with key customer contacts to understand their needs and act as a trusted advisor.
What you will bring to the team:
Expertise in storage protocols like Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS
Understanding of storage area networks (SAN), network attached storage (NAS)
Knowledge of data protection strategies (snapshots, replication, backup)
Familiarity with major storage and backup vendors (Dell, HPe , NetApp, Hitachi Vantara, Comvault, Veeam and Veritas ) in terms of portal activities, targets and certifications etc.
Experience with storage sizing tools and performance analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with the sales team
Attend OEM trainings and enable sales teams.
Develop mechanism for lead generation through OEMs in existing and new accounts.
Managing the sales bid process by responding to RFI s & RFP.
Record keeping of opportunities where supporting BD/Sales and attending joint reviews.
