Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive underwriting reviews of loan/mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to lending policies.
• Conduct pre-purchase reviews (PPR) to assess loan quality and detect risk indicators.
• Evaluate borrower creditworthiness, collateral, and overall risk profile.
• Ensure compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with loan officers and processors to resolve discrepancies and clarify documentation.
• Maintain detailed records and generate reports for audit and compliance purposes.
• Contribute to process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
  

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in underwriting or pre-purchase reviews (38 years).
• Strong knowledge of credit and risk assessment practices.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Familiarity with financial documentation and regulatory frameworks.
