Job Description: CAD Engineer

Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings for railway infrastructure projects (track, signaling, or civil works).
• Create detailed technical drawings based on project specifications and engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings.
• Modify and revise designs as per client or engineering feedback.
• Ensure compliance with railway industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of design files and revisions.
• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors for design-related queries.
• Support design reviews and quality assurance processes.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar).
• Knowledge of railway infrastructure design standards (such as Network Rail or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Experience in railway infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with BIM tools (optional but advantageous).
