Job Description

Leadership Team Building
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of Product Managers and Product Analysts across different experience levels
  • Establish clear career paths, growth frameworks, and performance standards for the product organization
  • Create a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and data-driven decision making
  • Develop hiring strategies specifically tailored to attract top product talent in the competitive Indian job market
  • Build strong relationships with Design, Engineering and Operations teams while fostering a collaborative culture across the Product team in the country
Culture Organizational Development
  • Define and nurture a unique organizational culture that reflects both our global values and Indian workplace dynamics
  • Create frameworks for collaboration, decision-making, and knowledge sharing
  • Establish rituals and practices that build team cohesion and celebrate successes
  • Build relationships with the local tech and product community to position our company as an employer of choice
Business Product Impact
  • Evangelize the concept of business value and into tangible business outcomes
  • Work closely with finance to develop and manage budgets
  • Present product performance and strategy to executive leadership
Internal Product Education
  • Develop a comprehensive Product Management (PM) curriculum tailored to the Indian context, covering fundamentals through advanced topics
  • Establish a Product Academy with structured learning paths for PMs, aspiring PMs, and cross-functional partners
Create a product mentorship program pairing experienced PMs with junior team members and interested employees from other departments
Experience Skills
  • 15+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • Proven track record of building and scaling product teams, preferably in the Indian market
  • Strong understanding of product development methodologies and best practices
  • Experience working with global teams and adapting strategies for local markets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders
  • Data-driven approach to decision making with strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience establishing organizational processes and operational frameworks
  • Experience working in the automotive industry for a US based company
