 Cloud Support Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our

team. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting cloud-based

issues, and maintaining the reliability and performance of cloud infrastructure. This role

requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and

the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS,Azure, GCP).

Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure high availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to compute, storage, networking, and cloud services.

Work closely with development and DevOps teams to resolve deployment and configuration issues.

Document technical issues and solutions in a knowledge base.

Automate recurring tasks using scripts or configuration management tools.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.

Assist in implementation of security and compliance best practices.

Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud-related tools and processes.


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

0-1 years of experience in a technical support or cloud infrastructure role.

Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).

Proficiency in troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows-based systems.

Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN).

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana).

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Associate level or Practitioner).


Preference- Location:

Candidates based out of Kolkata or within West Bengal


Working Conditions:

May require availability during off-hours for incident resolution.

Remote support capabilities depending on business needs.
