Role & responsibilities

We are hiring an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru (onsite). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines, working with large datasets using Python, SQL, and Spark, and a solid understanding of the banking domain.

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL processes and data pipelines.
  
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data sets from diverse banking systems.
  
• Perform data integration, data wrangling, and transformation to support analytics and reporting.
  
• Optimize and troubleshoot Spark jobs and SQL queries for performance and reliability.
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  
• Ensure high data quality and integrity across systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
  
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in query optimization and working with large datasets.
  
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing.
  
• Proven experience building and managing ETL pipelines in production environments.
  
• Experience working in or with clients from the banking or financial services domain.
  
• Ability and willingness to join immediately and work onsite in Bengaluru.
