Nature of The Job
This role is responsible for working collaboratively with (international) partners, executing the tasks assigned.
Respond to customer support tickets via email, chat, or helpdesk platforms in both German and English
Monitor students queries raised.
Support the University in conducting Online Enrolments.
Organize the set-up and ensure smooth and timely handling & assigning of Tickets
Work effectively with a diverse range of service providers and colleagues
Manage any other tasks given from time to time by the senior management of UE management.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a proficient German Language Specialist (B2/C1 level) to join our dynamic
support team. This role is responsible for responding to student enrolment and inquiries related
to their academics and is held accountable for each employee's performance. The services that
GEI and the client groups have agreed upon are to be provided by the student support officer. An
ideal candidate is the one with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and
attention to detail
Key Accountability:
Student support
Organize the set-up and to ensure a smooth and timely handling & assigning of Ticket.
Student Online Enrolments
Support the University in conducting Online Enrolments.
Onshore support:
Work collaboratively with (international) partners, executing the tasks assigned.
Work effectively with a diverse range of service providers and colleagues
Ad-hoc:
Taking up any additional tasks assigned by the Stakeholders.
KRAs & KPIs
Student Online Enrolments: Conduct Online Enrolments as per the schedule in and update them on the Sharepoint.
Ticketing Queue: Assigning & Actioning the Ticketing Queue to ensure that the student
queries are handled and resolved or assigned to the relevant department
Audit: Training, Audit & Compliance Desired Profile required:
Skills & Qualification:
Graduate with relevant experience
Knowledge of the international education system (Desirable)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in German (B2 or C1 level) spoken and written
High level of discretion, diplomacy, and cultural intelligence
Experience in working, living or studying abroad or with an international audience
Proven track record in the areas of academic affairs, student services, enrolment management, continuing education, program development, and administration
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches, solutions, and methods
Relevant Experience:
Minimum 3-6 years experience in customer service
High level of customer focus and excellent attention to detail, first-rate organizational skills
