Job Title: SAP Security Engineer (Governance Focus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Security Engineer with a strong background in governance and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP landscape by implementing best practices, identifying process improvement opportunities, and maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation. This is a remote position, with flexibility to work in a parallel/distributed team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, etc.).
  
• Lead governance initiatives and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal security policies.
  
• Perform periodic audits, risk analysis, and remediation activities for SAP users and roles.
  
• Gather business and technical requirements for SAP security-related projects.
  
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand access needs and recommend secure, compliant solutions.
  
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including access control procedures, user provisioning guides, and security governance policies.
  
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline access management and enhance security posture.
  
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and testing to validate access controls and minimize risk.
  
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to support ongoing security needs and enhancements.
