We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 5+ years of functional testing experience and a strong understanding of software quality processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing, test case design, and defect management, with automation testing and ServiceNow experience as a plus. You will work closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Testing: Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on business requirements.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or ALM.
Test Execution: Perform end-to-end, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enterprise applications.
ServiceNow Testing: Validate ServiceNow workflows, modules, and custom applications (if applicable).
Automation (Good to Have): Contribute to test automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, or other tools.
Collaboration: Work with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to understand requirements and improve testing coverage.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest process improvements, best practices, and QA methodologies for optimized testing.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in functional and manual testing
Strong knowledge of test case design, test planning, and execution
Hands-on experience in defect tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, ALM, etc.)
Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Ability to analyze business requirements and create test strategies
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Automation testing experience (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, etc.)
Experience in ServiceNow testing (ITSM, HRSD, BCM or custom modules)
Performance testing knowledge using JMeter or similar tools
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
