JOD Description The System Engineer will be responsible for technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology, including specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve problems. The System Engineer will also assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment. The positions responsibilities require independent analysis, and communication and problem-solving. The System Engineer will be responsible for handling user administration activities like creating removing user IDs and managing groups on O365 etc. Should have at least 4 years working experience in Active directory environment Should be good in endpoint management like system drivers, application software, utilities, antivirus etc. Configuration of user profile and MS outlook and backup of emails to PSTs when required. Troubleshooting of user profile issues and outlook, email AD issues. Working experience in all Server Operating systems Should have excellent communication skills and quick learning capabilities. Should be able to handle vendors and asset management. Should be capable of identifying the requirement issues, get the clarity and provide solution on requirements. Roles Responsibilities Handling all server activities and trouble shootings including AD O365 / exchange etc Setup Servers and install software for various applications and programs. Performed hands-on administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Local Area network (LAN)/ WAN issues, resulting in optimum performance and minimum downtime. Basic Network troubleshooting and diagnosis Configure and troubleshoot of MS office issue. Should have good communication skills and good team work to manage US users. Configure and installation of local and network printer in network. Remote support of on-site engineers during troubleshooting of tickets. Maintaining of Asset management and perform periodic preventative maintenance identified by the IT Services Providing security infrastructure services to domestic and global clients as per info sec Communicating directly with all service providers and project owners on various problems Installation and maintenance of antivirus like McAfee endpoint protection Vendor coordination for hardware issue servers and security incidents with external providers where and when necessary. Handling L2 and L3 ticket in remote for remote users using remote control tools. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults. Follow-up and Resolve Problems/Issues/Defects within SLA. Should have knowledge on basic servers like DNS, DHCP and other servers. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company s security team. Should be able to understand trouble shoot patch related issues. Should have hand on with O365 user administration and mailbox management Working experience in Cloud (Aws Azure) will be added advantage Working experience on windows PowerShell or Jason scripts will be added advantage Education Candidate should be either a Diploma in Computer Science / Electronics Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science /Electronics (B.Sc. / B.E.)
