Helix OM AIOps Engineer @ Miraki Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced L3 BMC Helix Operations Management (OM) AIOps Specialist to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in BMC Helix OM, strong understanding of AIOps concepts, and the ability to lead incident triage, monitoring optimization, and integration across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3-level support for BMC Helix Operations Management and AIOps platform.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize monitoring policies, event management, and integrations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proactive monitoring and automated remediation.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and network teams for root cause analysis (RCA) and service restoration.
• Analyze system events using machine learning and AI-driven insights to reduce noise and improve event correlation.
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party tools (e.g., ServiceNow, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
• Drive continuous improvement of monitoring configurations and alerting thresholds.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfers to internal support teams.
• Participate in on-call support as needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix Operations Management (OM).
• Proficient in AIOps concepts including anomaly detection, event correlation, and predictive analytics.
• Experience integrating Helix with ITSM/CMDB tools (ServiceNow, BMC Helix ITSM).
• Good understanding of infrastructure and application monitoring (servers, databases, containers, cloud).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, data pipelines, and automation tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BMC certifications in Helix OM
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD monitoring pipelines.
