Lab Technician, Lab Assistant, @ Quest Global

Job Description

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Production, Additive Manufacturing, Automobile, Plant Engineering, or any other allied branches of Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Diploma with 3 Yrs OR Degree with 1-2 Yrs Experience

Skillset:

1. Good with Hand-on experience on various hand tools, test equipment's, hydraulic systems, 3D Printer & reverse engineering

2. Software : CREO - CAD, 3D Printing build file software's, GOM Inspect, Scanning software

3. Practiced 5S, Clean Desk & various AUDITS

4. Microsoft office tools like Word, EXCEL, Power Point, Power BI.

Job Responsibility :

01 : 3D Printer

1. Prepare 3D printing Build files & carry out printing operations. Clean & carry out post printing processes.

2. Procure, Store & Maintain 3D printer consumables.

3. Also do preliminary maintenance as per standard procedures provided by printer manufacturers.

4. Maintain dashboard & billing charges for the 3D printer. Job Responsibility

02 : Assembly, Dis-assembly, Safety, Handling, Transportation

1. Asist & guide engineers in Assembly, Disassembly, proto builds in Mechanical Labs (Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical)

2. Follow Safety protocol & make sure LAB is compliant to 5S, Clean Desk & CCI Audits.

3. Support teams during field visits OR Supplier collaboration on a need basis (5% of years time).

4. Get field returned components cleaned as per Landlords protocols Job Responsibility

03 : Lab Tools & Equipment's, Maintenance, Logistics'

1. Maintain mechanical Lab equipments & ensure calibration on timely basis

2. Asist & guide to maintain safety protocols, while using various hand tools, power tools, electronic equipments, lubricants & any other chemicals.

3. Maintain stocks & support Tools movement as per SEZ regulations. Job Responsibility

04 : Scanning, Reverse Engineering & Modelling

1. Scan / Measure / Inspect components OR assemblies made as POCs or benchmarking for Per & Post validation results.

2. Manage basic level of modelling work related to Point Cloud data.
