Software Engineer @ Relevance Lab

We are currently seeking a Full stack web application developer with a solid foundation in software development, particularly in Python, AWS and certified AWS Solution architect. This role involves building and maintaining scalable web applications, leveraging AWS infrastructure, and ensuring high standards of code quality through object-oriented programming and unit testing. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing solutions that are critical to our operational efficiency and innovation efforts.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, facilitating continuous integration and deployment of software solutions.
• Apply best practices in object-oriented programming to ensure code modularity and maintainability.
• Conduct unit testing to verify the functionality and performance of applications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
• Leverage AWS services effectively to build and scale reliable distributed systems.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of web applications through the implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Proficiency in Python and experience with AWS Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience in building web applications and familiarity with AWS services such as S3, ECS, Load Balancer, and Open Search.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Competence in unit testing and ensuring software quality.
• Familiarity with data structures, software architecture, and document file management.
• Experience with embedding databases or vector stores, especially Elastic Search or OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment.
• Proven ability in building and scaling reliable distributed systems.
• Experience in developing authentication and authorization for web applications.
• Experience building LLM applications or engaging in prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with functional testing methodologies.
