Day to day tasks as an AR -

• Employ measures to expedite claim adjudication by resolving issues that may delay processing
• Perform analysis of accounts receivable data and understand the reasons for underpayment, days in A/R, top denial reasons, use appropriate codes to be used in documentation of the reasons for denials / underpayments
• Expert knowledge of outgoing and incoming insurance processes and insurance follow-up
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Follow up with insurance carriers on special insurance billings and claims
• Interact with client managers for proactive communication regarding clients.
• Reading and interpreting insurance EOBs
• Respond to inquiries from insurance companies, clients and providers
• Maintain appropriate control, security and privacy of client and patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, policies regulations and laws

Job Description Summary

Responsible for analysis of receivables due from healthcare insurance companies and initiation of necessary follow-up actions to get reimbursed. The work includes a combination of voice and non-voice follow-up along with undertaking appropriate denial and appeal management protocol

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years experience in a similar position or equivalent experience in a similar position.

Prior Experience

• Must have knowledge RCM ,AR ,Denials, Escalations

Working Hours
Describe the work schedule the staff will follow :

8pm to 5am IST OR

6pm to 3am IST
