Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Java Developer (4+ Years Experience) who will contribute to the
design, development, and maintenance of high-performance applications. You will work with
Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build
efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java & Spring Boot.
- Work on REST APIs, database interactions, and cloud-based deployments.
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD integration, containerization, and deployment.
- Keep up with emerging technologies and best engineering practices.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Java (4+ years experience)
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multi-
- threading.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8+ (Streams API, Lambda Expressions, Functional
- Programming).
- Understanding of JVM internals, memory management, and garbage collection.
- Spring Boot & Microservices
- Experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST API development.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and service communication patterns.
- Database & Query Optimization
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience in query optimization, indexing, and schema design.
- Cloud & DevOps Exposure (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Best Coding Practices & Agile
- Understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development), BDD, and clean code principles.
- Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban).
