Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ignition SCADA Engineer to join our Automation Digitization team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced industrial automation solutions, specifically leveraging the Ignition platform.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and Ignition SCADA Engineer to join our team.
Roles Responsibilities
Analyze, evaluate, and build upon the existing Ignition-based software application as per the defined requirements.
Implement modular components such as Raw Material Management, Recipe Management, and Admin Area.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and align software capabilities with business processes.
Ensure the application adheres to best practices of PLC framework, including workflows and approval gates.
Develop and maintain integrations with external enterprise systems (e.g., SAP HANA, global PLMs).
Enable automated one-way or two-way data exchanges with other platforms as required.
Manage user roles, workflows, and access controls through an integrated admin interface.
Apply best practices and lessons learned from past MES and enterprise-level automation projects.
Provide technical consultancy to improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of the solution.
Work closely with an experienced development team to deliver high-quality software that meets project goals and timelines.

Technical Skills Qualifications
Proven experience with Inductive Automation s Ignition platform for industrial automation projects.
Strong background in Enterprise and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) projects.
Experience with SCADA system development, particularly in modular architecture and system integration.
Proficient in creating and consuming APIs and building interfaces with systems like SAP HANA and global PLMs.
Ability to understand and extend existing codebases using technical documentation, ERDs, process flows, and mockups.
Experience in workflow and user role management through admin panels.
Solid understanding of industrial automation processes and data management principles.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
