Job Description

Today, NCR VOYIX transforms the stores, restaurants and digital banking experiences with cloud-based, platform-led SaaS and services capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the QA strategy for new product rollouts, pilot store readiness, and customer-specific integrations.
  • Own and lead all quality-related activities from lab setup to customer pilot validation.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer lab teams to ensure all features meet functional, CX, and performance expectations.
  • Drive test planning, manual and automated test execution, and defect management for all NPI projects.
  • Develop reusable test frameworks for community-source-enabled and core product features.
  • Lead QA governance reviews, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and lead a growing team of QA engineers and test automation experts.
  • Interface with Professional Services (PS) and Support to define test coverage for wider rollouts.
  • Ensure regression, integration, and end-to-end testing are complete for each pilot release.
  • Define and track QA KPIs including defect leakage, test coverage, and pilot release quality.
  • Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA sign-off reports for pilot customers.
Key Skills Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 17+ years of experience in QA, with 9+ years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies for distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
  • Experience working in NPI or pre-production environments involving lab validation and customer pilots.
  • Expertise in test automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Postman; hands-on experience with automation frameworks is required.
  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience in retail or embedded systems (POS, self-checkout, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and lead cross-functional quality discussions.

  • Passion for process improvement and driving high-quality customer experiences.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
  • Proactive in identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans early in the QA cycle.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support transparent, audit-ready QA practices.
