Data Analyst

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support data-driven decision-making within the medical school. The Data Analyst will work closely with the Director of Reporting and Data Analysis, and various departments, to gather, process, and present data insights that contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of our academic and administrative reporting and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Integration

• Apply advanced SQL skills (5+ years experience) to extract and manipulate large datasets.
  
• Integrate and manage data from various sources; experience with Business Central and Salesforce is a plus.
  
• Ensure data pipelines are reliable and efficient.
  

Data Analysis & Insights

• Utilize statistical methods and analytics tools to derive actionable insights from raw data.
  
• Translate data into clear, concise findings to support institutional goals.
  

Reporting

• Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports tailored to different stakeholder needs.
  
• Visualize data trends using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.
  

Quality Assurance

• Perform rigorous data validation and verification to ensure accuracy.
  
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies proactively.
  

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst; experience in an educational or healthcare setting is preferred.
  
• Strong command of SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
