Job Description
- Project Management :
- Lead complex, cross-functional AI/ML projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and dependencies, working with teams to mitigate roadblocks.
- Ensure that AI/ML projects meet timelines, quality standards, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management :
- Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and managers to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship :
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Promote best practices in AI/ML project management and agile methodologies.
- Encourage innovation, and facilitate the development of new AI products and features.
- Process Improvement :
- Continuously assess and refine AI project management processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Implement Agile or other relevant methodologies tailored to AI/ML teams and projects.
- Work with engineering leadership to optimize workflows and improve delivery velocity.
- Risk & Issue Management :
- Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and roadblocks, working with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor and report on project health and progress, adjusting plans as needed to address changes in scope or timeline.
Qualifications :
- Education :
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
