Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong mathematical skills

Experience with Windows, Macintosh and UNIX operating systems

Customer service skills and ability to work in a team

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering

Knowledge of Maple an asset

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with mathematical software, such as Maple or MATLAB.
• Experience with simulation environment, such as Simulink, Dymola, or SPICE.
• Strong communication skills
• 2 years experience is highly desirable but we encourage those with less experience and new graduates to apply.

Nice-to-have Skills and Qualifications

While not essential for consideration for this role, the following qualifications are considered assets for prospective candidates

• Software development using one of the following languages: C, C , C#, Java, Fortran, Maple, Matlab, and LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems, especially Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
