Job Description
- Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
- Develop relevant features from raw data to improve model performance and interpretability
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to solve specific business problems.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques, iterating and refining models as necessary.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor model performance over time, identifying and addressing issues as they arise. Update models as needed to adapt to changing requirements or data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, and domain experts, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes
- Document methodologies, algorithms, and code for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning research, experimenting with new techniques and technologies to drive innovation.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master s or Ph.D.) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science and machine learning, such as Python or R. Experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts relevant to machine learning, including probability theory, linear algebra, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly learn new technologies and tools as needed.
- Awareness of ethical considerations and potential biases in AI and machine learning models, with a commitment to responsible and ethical use of data.
