Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Analyst/ Analyst who would involve in understanding the transactions on the Sales & use form and file tax returns for US states Must be a supporting member of the Professional Services team, ensuring client returns are filed. Work with team and all other tax personnel and deadlines, observe processes to determine ways that can help output of the team
Also, would have to provide customer support in addition to producing and accurate results by way of preparing and filing the Sales & use tax returns. This role report to Manager-PS.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- You would be preparing the custom pSTRA and Tax Summary Report and sharing with the client and state tax authority.
- Submit voluntary compliance spreadsheet to the state taxing authorities.
- You will be a primary liaison between the state taxing authorities and customers participating in state programs.
- You should have understanding on state laws (US Taxation) and regulations for forms and Tax rules..
- Manage clients expectations and overall experience. Troubleshoot the transactional data, before the nexus setup.
- Understand the tools / applications and procedures to complete filings and all for several US States.
- You would work cooperatively with all staff members and management, efficient and accurate in performance of work tasks.
- Flexible to extend working hours, working on weekends and holidays as may be required to complete the filings requirements.
- Your working knowledge of excel Formulas, Pivot Tables & Macros
What Youll Need to be Successful
- Team player ready to work in 24/7 environment as per business requirement
- Good to have - experience / knowledge in sales and use tax domain.
- 0 to 2 years of work experience
- Proficiency in using Excel
