Job Description

Key Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and cook tandoori dishes including breads (naan, roti), kebabs, grilled meats, and vegetarian items.
  • Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and effectively.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all food prepared at the station.
  • Maintain mise en place, stock control, and station cleanliness.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion control procedures.
  • Monitor food storage, waste control, and rotation of stock.
  • Innovate and contribute to menu development, particularly in the Indian cuisine section.
