Job Title: Intern Scientific Curator

As an Intern Scientific Curator, you will assist the genomics research and product development teams by supporting literature curation, genetic data interpretation, and content development activities. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in scientific data curation, exposure to genetic databases and pipelines, and opportunities to participate in cross-functional discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.Key Responsibilities
- Support the systematic review of scientific literature to identify relevant genetic markers, gene-trait associations, and clinical insights.
- Assist in extracting, organizing, and annotating genetic and genomic data using standardized formats and controlled vocabularies.
- Help maintain internal genetic databases, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and traceability of curated content.
- Work alongside the bioinformatics team to learn how curated data is integrated into analysis pipelines.
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing technical and scientific content for internal presentations, training materials, and marketing support.
- Join knowledge-sharing discussions, taking notes and supporting post-meeting documentation or action items.
- Support in conducting market analysis and support evaluation of global genomics trends and new test ideas.

Education and Skill Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed M.Sc. or integrated M.Sc. in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related life sciences field.
- Basic understanding of genetics and genomics; familiarity with databases like OMIM, ClinVar, dbSNP is a plus.
- Interest in literature review, scientific writing, and data annotation.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and meet assigned tasks within timelines.
- Prior exposure to bioinformatics tools or NGS workflows (academic or project-based) is desirable but not mandatory.
Duration: 36 months
Stipend: As per company policy
Certificate: Internship completion certificate will be provided.
