1. Design, plan, and prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation for electrical substations 11kV to 132 kV, particularly those supplying irrigation pump stations and pipeline systems.
2. Develop single line diagrams (SLDs), general arrangement (GA) drawings, protection and control schematics, cable routing, and earthing systems.
3. Specify and select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, VFDs, and auxiliary systems in accordance with project and client requirements.
4. Conduct electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, fault level studies, and protection coordination studies.
5. Ensure designs comply with national and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC) and safety regulations.
6. Interface with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and control engineering teams to ensure coordinated substation and pipeline design.
7. Prepare and review technical specifications, bill of materials (BoM), and procurement documents.
8. Assist in vendor evaluation, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site commissioning support as required.
9. Contribute to project schedules, design reviews, and client meetings.
10. Support field engineering and resolve design-related issues during construction and commissioning.
11. To work out item wise bill of quantity of Project.
12. Design approvals from government department and vetting institutes.
13. Travelling on site/Government department for convincing, scrutiny & approval.
14. Report writing and presentation skills is necessary.
