Job Description

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C++ with 10+ years of coding experience for product development, with an understanding of the architecture of modern software and design patterns
• Excellent debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience using Git, MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Server , Windows platform
• Experience working with OCR technology is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with the ABBYY team and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality C++ applications.
• Utilize strong debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with the ABBYY team for understanding the requirements and exiting issues.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Daily Roles:

• Manage and update Jira tickets, ensuring accurate tracking of issues and progress.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to address and resolve issues.
• Reproduce issues related to product features and functionality to identify root causes.
• Provide regular updates on Jira and participate in daily sync meetings to ensure alignment.
• Troubleshoot performance, database, web application, and security issues on both distributed and cloud (Azure) environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VC++, web development, and Azure.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Windows development
• Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
