Junior QA Automation Engineer @ Capco

Job Description

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• Strong academic background.

• Proficiency in Java , Selenium WebDriver , SQL , TestNG , Eclipse , Apache POI , Maven , Atlassian Jira , Rest Assured , and API Testing using Postman .

• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios based on specifications.
• Perform manual and automation testing, with expertise in tools such as Selenium .
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Possess a thorough understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Utilize bug and test management tools such as JIRA , Bugzilla , or Quality Center efficiently.
• Apply basic knowledge of databases to test data scenarios.
• Stay updated on testing methodologies and tools.
• Certification in Automation Testing ( Selenium , QTP ) or Manual Testing is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• Quick learner with an inquisitive mindset to explore the "why," "how," and "what" of testing challenges.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is not mandatory but would be an added advantage.
