Job Description
- We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with a strongbackground in Python and extensive experience in serverless architecture,microservices, and data pipeline management at scale
- As a seniorengineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with 2 to5 years of experience, driving team mandates for data pipelines, andmanaging databases at scale
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance andsupport to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust serverlessapplications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other relatedtechnologies.
- Build and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines usingGitHub and Codepipeline.
- Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows tohandle large-scale data processing.
- Manage and optimize databases, including DynamoDB, Postgres,and S3, to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritizefeatures and improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to driveinnovation within the team. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focuson Python.
- Proven experience in designing and building serverless applicationsand microservices.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, APIGateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systemsdesign.
- Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, orFastAPI.
- Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such asGitHub, Codepipeline, and others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically andcreatively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentorand inspire a team.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web developmentpractices.
- A passion for quality and a commitment to delivering high-qualitysoftware.
