SDET - Test Automation
Candidate should have following experience:
Key Skills:
"Good knowledge of fundamentals with hands-on experience in Java and JavaScript (Desirable for candidate to have knowledge on latest versions - Java 17 or later)
Good knowledge of SQL fundamentals with hands-on experience around data persistence
Proven expertise in any UI automation framework (Cypress, playwright, selenium)
Proven expertise in any API automation framework (Rest Assure, Karate)
Proven expertise in any performance automation framework (K6)
Good hands-on experience with service virtualization using any mocking / stubbing technique
Exposure to implementing any security test framework
Good to have knowledge on contract testing, accessibility testing
Good hands-on experience on working with CI, CD pipelines
Good to have understanding of aws services (For eg S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda etc)"
Roles and Responsibilities:
Define and implement the automation strategy and roadmap.
Lead the development and maintenance of advanced automation frameworks.
Evaluate and recommend automation tools and technologies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with overall project goals.
Identify and implement process improvements for automation and testing.
Lead automation initiatives and projects, including planning and resource allocation.
Provide strategic advice on automation best practices, tools, and processes.
Communicate automation strategies, progress, and issues to stakeholders.
Optimize the performance and efficiency of automation processes and frameworks.
Establish and enforce best practices and governance for automation processes.
Assist in end to end test strategy
Assist in test governance
Own test status reports compilation and sharing
Coordinate with other interfacing platforms
Coordinate with business , architect, lead developer and environment team
