VP-Automation test Engineer @ Deutsche Bank

Job Description

Automation Engineer Skills Needed-

• Total 12+ years of experience in IT industry with exposure to software Testing, development and maintenance of automation test suite, knowledge and hand-on experience in implementing test automation frameworks
• Hand-on experience in Test standards and procedures, and testing non-functional requirements
• Experience of working in agile teams
• Communication skills, analytical skills, problem-solving attitude and team player
• Possessing relevant toolset knowledge (JIRA, Confluence, PostMan etc)
• Ability to synthesize, visualize and communicate ideas to others, to explain complex topic in simple terms
• Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer-Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)

Must have skills-

Technical Skills

• Automation Tool/Framework like Cucumber, Selenium, Load Runner, Jmeter
• Knowledge of : REST, JSON, XML
• Programming: VB Script, Java, Python, APIs
• Query/Scripting:   SQL basics, shell script
• Middleware: IBM MQ, Active MQ, JMS
• Tools: PostMan, Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Artifactory, HP ALM

Domain/Functional Skills

• Must have: Payment Industry overview, MT/MX messaging
• Agile & Testing Methodologies
• DevOps working ways
• Stakeholder Management

Nice to have skills-

• Dev Ops: Jenkins, Team City, u-Deploy, Ansible
• Middleware: Kafka
• Container: Docker, Kubernetes, any cloud platform
