Plant Head/GM Plant Operations

Description
We are looking for a highly skilled General Manager - Plant Operations with 15-20 years of experience in the job market context of India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities
Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and quality control
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
Manage and train plant staff, including supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel
Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and logistics, to ensure smooth operations
Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures
Maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve operations
Prepare and present reports to senior management on plant performance and progress towards goals

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
15-20 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
