Technical Content & Research Writer @ Torry Harris Business

We are seeking a Technical Content Research Writer with 3-4 years of experience in the IT industry to craft high-quality, insightful, and research-driven content. The ideal candidate will work closely with content strategists, SMEs, analyst relations, and research heads to develop compelling Point of Views (PoVs), research reports, whitepapers, and technology-driven articles.

Who are you

As a Technical Content Research Writer, you will interact with stakeholders across the company and the different business units, understand IT solutions and distill the information collected and put in a roadmap to deliver on our content strategy. You will also work with senior management to edit, proof-read and create technical content and research reports. You will use your own abilities as well as market leading products and tools to pull customers and convey our value proposition. You will then follow through and iteratively customize these further, based on consumption data derived from social media, growth in our follower base etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging technology trends, industry developments, and market insights.


• Develop high-quality content, including PoVs, research papers, whitepapers, reports, and technical articles.


• Collaborate with content strategists, subject matter experts, and research teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.


• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content for diverse audiences.


• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor research, and analyst reports to enhance content relevance.


• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and industry standards.


• Work on content optimization for digital platforms, ensuring SEO and readability best practices.


• Assist in creating supporting materials for analyst briefings and market research initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 3-4 years of experience in technical writing, research, or content creation in the IT/technology domain.


• Strong understanding of enterprise technology, digital transformation, cloud computing, data, AI and other emerging tech trends.


• Proven ability to create structured, well-researched, and data-driven content.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to synthesize complex technical information into reader-friendly content.


• Familiarity with SEO, content marketing best practices, and digital publishing tools.


• A proactive approach to research, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Experience in collaborating with SMEs, analysts and research heads.


• Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and research databases is a plus.
