Job Description
Role & responsibilities
As a member of the team, the Solutions/Technical Architect will build highly consultative trusted relationships with management and technical decision makers in the organization to provide business and technical thought leadership, and become a trusted advisor in solving business challenges.
Should have hands on experience in driving automation and transformation projects (preferably in insurance) with ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives including business value identification, road mapping, as well as advising and defining successful execution strategies.
Perform lead role in transformation projects mainly on business processes and technology
- Make intuitive high-level decisions for software development & Architecture.
- Responsible to determine Business Requirements along with BA and stakeholders.
- Determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
- Make choices on available technologies based on requirements & provide guidance.
- Flair in creating comprehensive solution plans and architectural plans & design.
- Experienced in tools and methodologies to create representations and user interface.
- Identify and demonstrate the right tools at every stage of software development to delivery.
- Capable providing product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
- Define development workflow with best practices and coding standards to follow.
- Mentor and train all the concepts and guidelines to development team on time-to-time.
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
- Coordinate with Security Team on vulnerability & ensure application security compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
Who you are
An ideal candidate should have experience working for enterprise-class software companies (preferably in BFSI domain), focused on identifying business priorities, technology strategy, and solution design.
Expertise in Domain driven design with essentials of SOLID design principle.
Minimum requirements
- 7 to 10+ Years with 4-5 years of experience of Architect Role
- Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or relevant fields.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent knowledge on popular application frameworks and architecture patterns.
- Knowledge on interacting with Agile Scrum development teams on architecture & design.
- Capable of Designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications.
- Solid knowledge of UML and other modelling methodologies incorporate in development.
- Exposure to Oracle ADF, REST, BPEL, Java EE, JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, React, Express, Vue).
- Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
- Familiarity in designing responsive web apps to work on both desktop & Mobile devices.
- Knowledge on event driven service architecture (like Kafka, Storm etc.)
- Capable designing for mobile development using languages like Java, Swift & React Native.
- Capable of providing scalable architecture with high availability, performance, and security.
- Knowledge on CI/CD tools orchestration & implementation on on-premises and cloud.
- Strong knowledge on microservices architecture using spring-boot, NodeJS, python, etc.
- Experience on mobile apps and web applications with offline solutions.
- Experience on Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS, Node, ORACLE PL/SQL, any other DBs and NoSQL DBs.
- Disaster Recovery, Security Architecture Knowledge of cloud-based architectures, hybrid infrastructure & deployment and operational aspects of Web Services on cloud is a plus.
