Job Description

Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve database provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.

Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas and applications that meet reliability and performance requirements

Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to meet RPO RTO objectives

Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical database and related infrastructure issues

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the RD team

Implement and manage high availability solutions for hybrid hosted database environments

Experience you will have:

Ansible

MySQL

PostgreSQL

Oracle DB

Google Cloud Platform

Kubernetes

Packer

Docker

Preferred Experience:

Certification in database administration, software engineering, or related field

Certifications in Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server
