Technical Skills

1. Power BI (Core Tool)
• Data modeling in Power BI
• DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Power Query (M language) for data transformation
• Creating dashboards and reports
• Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, workspaces, security)
• Row-level security (RLS)
2. Data Handling

• SQL (Structured Query Language) intermediate to advanced
• ETL concepts and tools (e.g., Power Query, Azure Data Factory)
• Data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas)

1. Databases & Data Sources

• Working with various data sources: Excel, CSV, SQL Server, Azure, SharePoint, APIs, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse)

1. Other Tools & Languages (Nice to Have)

• Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
• Python for advanced analytics
• Power Automate for workflow automation
• Azure tools like Data Lake, Synapse Analytics

Analytical Skills

• Strong understanding of business metrics and KPIs
• Ability to translate business requirements into data models and visualizations
• Data cleaning and validation
• Critical thinking and problem-solving

Visualization & Design Skills

• UI/UX principles for dashboards (clarity, layout, color usage)
• Storytelling with data
• Choosing appropriate visuals for the data and audience
• Custom visuals and themes in Power BI
