Job Description
1. Helicopter Pilot
Key Responsibilities:
- Flight Operations
- Operate single-engine or multi-engine helicopters in compliance with DGCA regulations, SOPs, and company operational policies.
- Plan and execute VFR/IFR flights, assessing route, terrain, weather conditions, fuel load, and alternate landing options.
- Maintain precise navigation and communication with ATC and ground control. Pre-flight and Post-flight Duties
- Conduct detailed pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems, fuel, and avionics.
- Ensure aircraft documentation, flight plans, and permits are complete and compliant.
- Report and log flight hours, mechanical issues, and mission debriefs. Specialized Operations (as applicable)
- Charter Services: Ensure timely, safe, and comfortable passenger transfers.
- Pilgrimage Shuttles: Adhere to high-frequency operational demands during events like Kumbh or Amarnath Yatra.
- Air Ambulance/MEDEVAC: Coordinate with medical teams, ensure patient safety, and respond to rapid deployment calls.
Safety & Compliance
- Uphold highest safety standards in all phases of flight.
- Participate in regular simulator training, proficiency checks, and emergency drills.
- Maintain current and valid CHPL, medical fitness (Class 1), and necessary endorsements.
Qualifications:
License: Valid Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL) issued by DGCA
Medical: Valid DGCA Class 1 Medical
Rating(s): Type-rated on at least one helicopter model (e.g., Bell 407, Airbus H125, H130, H145, AW109, etc.) Preference for Multi-Engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) Hill Rated
Minimum flying experience: Single-Engine: 300+ hrs total time (with 100+ PIC on type preferred) Multi-Engine: 5001000+ hrs total time, including 100+ hrs on multi-engine rotorcraft
2. Operations Manager Helicopter
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day flight operations and scheduling.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation for DGCA and internal audits.
- Coordinate between pilots, engineering teams, and ground staff.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Aviation, Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in aviation operations or airline management.
- Familiarity with DGCA regulations, safety standards, and CRM practices.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
3. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Helicopter
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of helicopters.
- Ensure aircraft airworthiness and adherence to OEM/DGCA standards.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, AMCs, and work orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure availability of spares and tools.
Requirements:
- Valid AME license (B1/B2) with helicopter type endorsement.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures, manuals, and safety protocols.
- DGCA-approved training preferred.
