Job Title: Data Analyst BFSI | Qlik Sense, QlikView & Power BI

Location: Bangalore Experience Level: 7+ years of experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong experience in Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data visualization, business intelligence, and analytics within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. You will play a key role in turning complex data into actionable insights that support decision-making and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into clear, insightful data visualizations and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data needs for various business functions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes as required.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and deep-dive analysis to support business needs and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize performance of BI tools and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and reports.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, BI development, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Qlik Sense, QlikView, and Power BI including scripting, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience working in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain with understanding of domain-specific KPIs and reporting needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other data tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Python/R for data analysis) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security practices in the BFSI sector.
  Understanding of financial metrics, regulatory reporting, and risk analytics.
