Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Enter financial transactions into accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Maintain accurate ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare and process invoices for customers and suppliers.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices.
  • Ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Reconcile bank statements with company records.
  • Assist in preparing cash flow reports.
  • Help process payroll and maintain employee expense records.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Support in audits by preparing documentation and reports.
  • Prepare data for VAT, GST, or other tax returns under the guidance of the senior accountant.
  • File and organize financial documents.
  • Assist with correspondence related to finance.
