Essential Qualifications :

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in QA Engineering with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing for iOS and Android platforms. Expertise in various mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and their respective ecosystems


• Expertise in Mobile automation best practices industry Standards.


• Strong understanding of mobile automation tools such as Appium.


• Solid experience in mobile debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Firebase, Crashlytics, ADB, Xcode Instruments, Android Studio


• Experience with mobile performance testing tools and frameworks.


• Solid experience in Backend testing and SQLite Databases


• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.


• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have :

• Experience in ecommerce domain


• Exposure to SAFe


• Exposure to containerized deployment model


• Exposure to Azure or AWS

A typical day in your role -

• Supervise, mentor, and guide teams of mobile app (Android and iOS) QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence in mobile testing practices.


• Continuously assess and improve mobile app QA best practices, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.


• Establish governance model to ensure that team adheres to established QA standardization best practices.


• Ensure mobile apps adhere to App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) guidelines and deliver high-quality and scalable Android and iOS features


• Monitor mobile app performance, crash reports, and bug trends, ensuring critical issues are addressed.


• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies and plans to ensure mobile apps meet the highest quality standards across functional, usability, performance, and security aspects.


• Oversee end-to-end testing efforts and execution of manual and automated tests for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.


• Drive the adoption and implementation of automation testing tools ensuring skill development and upskilling in automation and mobile testing.


• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, deliverables, and quality expectations.


• Work collaboratively with teams to address challenges and problem areas, motivate teams throughout the project, identify training and upskilling needs and ensure that teams are given safe environment to excel.


• Measure teams performance through standardized key performance indicators, and the ability to push the quality bar higher


• Stay updated with the latest mobile testing trends, tools, and best practices, and provide ongoing training and development to team members.
