Job Description
OverviewAs a Data Center Network Architect at NCG, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the network infrastructure that supports our clients hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates closely with cross-functional units to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer requirements. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth, allowing you to enhance your skills in network design, implementation, and advisory services while contributing to high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities- Discover, assess, and advise on existing data center and campus network infrastructure.
- Design, configure, and implement routing and switching infrastructure in large enterprise data centers.
- Create migration and deployment plans for data center infrastructure.
- Produce high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network components with compute, storage, and backup solutions.
- Document network designs prior to deployment and prepare as-built documentation post-deployment.
- Identify areas for improvement, such as automation and orchestration opportunities.
- Conduct assessments of data centers with gap analysis to provide best practice recommendations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in data center networking and architecture.
- Hands-on experience in advisory, design, implementation, and assessment of Data Center Networking environments.
- Proficiency in switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and related technologies.
- Valid professional-level certification (e.g., CCNP or equivalent).
- Expertise in Aruba AOS/Aruba AOSCX and Juniper Data Center infrastructure.
- Proficiency with VxLAN/EVPN and Spine-Leaf architecture.
- Strong understanding of data center components, including virtualization and compute/storage technologies.
- Experience with networking automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Valid certification in CCNP or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Cloud technology understanding from an integration perspective.
- Hands-on experience in network architecture consulting.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve network performance issues.
